Celebrating Rural Women’s Empowerment: A Step Towards Building Stronger Communities
It was a truly colorful and inspiring ceremony as we celebrated the graduation of rural women who successfully completed their basic literacy and numeracy skills training. This initiative, conducted by Women In Agriculture for Sustainable Development (WASUDEV), aims to equip women with essential skills to boost their confidence, enhance their access to livelihood opportunities, and foster self-reliance.
The event was a testament to the strength, resilience, and unwavering determination of these women, who have shown incredible willpower in their journey toward personal growth. By acquiring these fundamental skills, they are now better positioned to improve their lives and become the best versions of themselves.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Madam Victoria Torlon Quoiquoi for her motivating message to the graduates. Her words of encouragement helped reinforce the importance of perseverance in their journeys. Additionally, Macy T. S. Wilson, one of our newest graduates, took the stage to inspire her peers, urging them to continue pushing forward in their endeavors and to believe in their potential.

We also want to extend our deepest gratitude to Kvinna till Kvinna and the Embassy of Sweden in Monrovia for their generous support of this project. Their commitment to empowering women and advancing education in rural communities has played a crucial role in making this initiative a success.
At WASUDEV, we firmly believe that when women are empowered, entire communities thrive. This graduation marks a significant milestone not just in education but in the broader effort to elevate women in agriculture and beyond. These women now have the tools and knowledge to take control of their futures, positively impacting their families and communities.

We are excited to continue supporting the growth of women in agriculture and other sectors, working towards greater opportunities for education, leadership, and empowerment. Here’s to the power of women, the strength of unity, and the promise of a brighter future!
