We were honored to present a gari processing machine and essential agricultural tools to the hardworking and resilient women farmers of Gayeh, Bong County.

Women in Agriculture for Sustainable Development (WASUDEV) was established on December 18, 2020, by dedicated professional Liberian women. Recognizing the challenges women and girls face in Liberia due to limited access to basic resources, these experts in agriculture and development planning leverage agriculture and mentorship to build resilience. WASUDEV aims to empower vulnerable and at-risk girls and women to become agri-entrepreneurs and change agents in their communities.

A world where girls and women living in rural areas are informed and take an active role in development, their own protection and national prosperity.
